Burnout & Balance - Creating Healthier Workdays

FREE workshop | Wednesday 28 January | 4:00–4:30pm (GMT)

Burnout and Balance Workshop

A practical, supportive mini session exploring burnout, energy, and how to create more sustainable workdays without guilt, judgement, or unrealistic advice.

This free workshop is designed as an introduction to the kind of work we do at The Wellbeing Room. It’s ideal for individuals, teams, and organisations who want to support wellbeing in a realistic, evidence-informed way.

Why this workshop?

When people talk about burnout, the advice is often the same: Take time off. Slow down. Push through this busy period and rest later. But many people notice something uncomfortable. They take time off… and they don’t actually feel better.

That’s because burnout doesn’t begin to recover when stress simply reduces. It begins to recover when the nervous system feels safe again.

Safety isn’t the absence of work. It’s predictability, boundaries, pauses, and rest without guilt.

This workshop isn’t about doing less, quitting your job, or overhauling your life. It’s about understanding how stress and energy really work, and learning small, practical changes you can use immediately during the workday.

What you’ll gain from this session

This 30-minute mini workshop offers a grounded introduction to:

  • Early signs of burnout that are often overlooked or normalised

  • Why pushing harder doesn’t work, and what helps instead

  • How stress and energy really work in the body and mind

  • One simple boundary you can implement immediately to protect your energy at work

Participants leave with insight, reassurance, and at least one practical tool they can actually use.
